Wednesday Wisdom: Reminders

I work straight nights, and when I get home from work in the morning, he usually cries out from the basement, where the bedroom is, to get me to join him. He knows me better than anyone – after over 16 years together, I’d be surprised if he didn’t! – and he knows when I need to rest or to eat or to move. Usually he just wants me to rest so that he can have snuggles, but he’s good at reminding me when I need certain things.
