Don’t Make This Difficult

Some cats ask politely for cuddles. This one has apparently skipped the asking.

In today’s Milton the Cat comic, a determined white kitty announces, “You are getting cuddled…” Milton’s response? A very cautious silence.

An offer Milton would rather refuse

Then comes the follow-up: “…Don’t make this difficult.” A knife appears, and Milton’s speech bubble changes from three little dots to one very understandable exclamation point.

Well. That escalated faster than a cat hearing the treat bag.

Big eyes, bigger demands

The contrast makes the joke: an adorable, wide-eyed fluffball delivering the least reassuring cuddle invitation imaginable. Milton, meanwhile, looks like he would very much like to renegotiate the terms.

It’s an over-the-top comic moment, not a real-life cuddle strategy. In our homes, the best snuggles happen when everyone is comfortable, cats included.
