50 Absolutely Purrfect Names For Ginger Cats
From their gorgeous coats of orange (and sometimes white) and their tendency to be the friendliest of felines, it’s safe to say that ginger cats are one of the most colorful cats to share your home with. And if you’re welcoming a new orange, or marmalade, cat into your family and home--congratulations on your new best friend! Now it’s time to give your newest furry family member a name.
Because most orange tabbies are male (with 80 percent male, and 20 percent female), the names we’ve selected lean that way. But we’ve also included names for female orange tabby names, and those that can be used for both male or female!

My ginger tabby..is called Harvey :)
Caramel
My fur baby’s name is Punkin( yes, that is how I decided to spell his name) and he is 14 years old. He is such a sweet, loving boy. However, he loves to eat- and eat and eat! He’s a big boy, about 15-16 pounds. My husband and I have been trying to give him less food. I love ginger kitties,
I always wanted one ever since I was little and used to see ‘Morris’ in the old Nine Lives catfood commercials.
Mine are Duke. Dusty. Garfield. Simba. Sassy
Mine is Thunder. From Thunder and the House of Magic. He’s scared of thunders too.
