Twix was named from a previous owner (& shelter), and we kept her name. Snickers (a kitten from ur Vet) was named Pumpkin, but we changed it, since we already had one candy bar. Now we have 2 sweet candy bars!!!

Rudolph got his name because he showed up in the snow as a tiny lonely kitten in our driveway in rural WI. This was before Christmas. His Mother never came for him. He’s 3 now and a sweet boy! 😻

I named my cat Millie after your cat Millie.

I was reading Oscar Wilde when I rescued my kitty. Previous owner called him “little bastard”. I couldn’t believe it. I named him Oscar. And he’s the best kitty ever.

Usually its their pwrsonality or oooks. If they already came with the name then qe usually changed it slightly. Like Cupcake to Cuppycake.
One cat found us dispite us having a dog as a kitten she allowed our dog to tree her. We fell for us and learned that she was independent and fearless. My brother named her Athena, who is the Greek Goddess of War and Wisdom. Other personality names, for our cats include Frisky, Fiesty,
Names based upon looks are Whiskers, Boostie-boo, and Checkerboard (a Tortoise-Shell Calico who’s left eye and right chin was orange and right eye and left chin was black – with the border almost exactly like four squares meeting at the nose, like a checkboard.
Other names were from me being girlie, like Princess Tigress, Princee (whome started as Princess because he was too sick for his gender to show, at first), and Sarah (for a dog) because I ran out of Princess names and decided to go on Sarah since it was Hebrew for princess. As just a sampling of many more names.
