There's Finally a Way to Make Money Cuddling Cats

Cat lovers, we just found your new dream job! It's time to quit your boring old day job and get paid to cuddle cats.

You heard right, folks. Just Cats, a Dublin-based veterinary clinic that only serves (you guessed it) cats, is looking to hire a full-time cat cuddler! 

The job is sure to appeal to a crowd of cat lovers the world over, including me. If I didn't already have my dream job writing about cats, I'd send in my resume!

The job listing is as cute and cuddly as the job title itself. "Does cattitude come naturally to you? Have you counted kittens before you go to sleep? Does petting cats make you feel warm and fuzzy?" Just Cats writes on the job listing.

If you answered yes to all of the above, you might be right crazy cat person for the job!

Prospective applicants  "must have gentle hands capable of petting and stroking cats for long periods of time." Ideal candidates must also be soft-spoken and know the secrets of a cat whispering to soothe and calm the nerves of some of the more nervous cat patients. 

Just Cats also writes that "an ability to understand different types of purring is a distinct added advantage." 

The cats-only vet clinic lists that they are an equal opportunities employer, noting, however, that they do discriminate against dogs attending their clinic as patients.

Which is understandable, seeing as how the clinic is clearly dedicated to giving cats the least stressful visit to the vet possible. And seeing as how cats and dogs get along like, well, cats and dogs, a "No Dogs Allowed" policy is fair enough.

Before you pack your bags and move to Ireland, though, the job listing does note that a "Veterinary Council of Ireland recognized qualification is essential for this role."
