BIG MEWS: Meowingtons is Teaming Up With a Cat Cafe!
Yes, you read that right! We here at Meowingtons are excited to announce our partnership with the Good Luck Cat Cafe! This amazing kitty cafe will be moving into Meowingtons Headquarters and sharing office space with us!
The move will be taking place mid-May, and our doors will be open to the public EVERY DAY from 11 am to 6 pm. To celebrate this wonderful new partnership, the first 10 cat adoptions will be getting a free Meowingtons goodie bag as well as a bag of Weruva cat food!
Meowingtons' friendship with the Good Luck Cat Cafe started about two years ago, when our founder and CEO, Emma Bassiri, dropped in to say hello. What started as a spontaneous visit to an adorable cat cafe during a lunch break ended up in an adoption! Emma adopted her second cat, Miso, from the Good Luck Cat Cafe that very day. Since Miso's adoption from this wonderful little cat cafe, the Meowingtons team has visited the cafe numerous times and donated goodie bags to encourage potential adoptions and help support a local organization dedicated to helping cats in need.
The Good Luck Cat Cafe takes care of shelter cats from Good Karma Pet Rescue and Lady Luck Animal Rescue who do not thrive in a shelter environment. The cafe allows these cats' personalities to shine and get more acquainted with their adopters in a less stressful environment.

Good Luck Cat Cafe's current cafe kitties - all are available for Unfortunately, just two years later, we learned that the Good Luck Cat Cafe would be forced to close their doors unless they could find a new place to call home. After three years and nearly 200 cat adoptions, their current residence in the Boomerangs Thrift Store in Wilton Manors, Florida, was coming to an end as the thrift store itself had to close its doors.
When Emma heard this news, she felt compelled to act! And after some back and forth, emails, and working out the logistics, The Good Luck Cat Cafe decided that the Meowingtons HQ office space would be the PURRFECT fit for their new location!

While finding a new place to call home is great mews, the 100% volunteer-run cafe stills needs your help!
Check out their fund-raiser and donate to help provide the cafe with necessary supplies like utilities, rent, food, litter, toys, and cleaning supplies!

On August 6, 2022, The NOAH Center will be hosting our 20th annual Music for the Animals benefit auction at Bertelsen Winery. One of two major fundraisers we hold each year, this event helps us raise $275,000 annually in support of homeless animals and always promises to be an evening of great music and big love.
